How to clone a formula

Sometimes you have a common skeleton for a formula you want to use as a starter and customize for your clients.

Labgrind lets you create formulas that are a "chassis" for others. You can take these formulas and clone them into projects.

To create a chassis all you need to do is:

1. Create a new formula
2. Select that formula to clone when starting a new project
3. Choose which versions you want to copy over

When you clone a formula it creates a copy that shares the initial history but from that point forward can be edited independently of the original. This way you can have a library of formula skeletons you can use to spin up clients quickly.
