We made versioning a core feature rather than an afterthought. Every action you take on a formula is stored and can be replayed up to any point on the timeline.

Want to try a new idea? At any point you can branch off a new version and experiment with the confidence you can roll back to any point in the past.

Each version, and its history is stored permanently, including a full audit log of everything that everyone has done.

We spent a long time talking to chemists to understand the tedious parts of formulating. We found that a lot of time is spent doing repetitive data entry and chasing suppliers for updated quotes.

So we built features to help out:

Even the most innovative formula is worthless if you can't source it, can't afford it and can't make it. Often the viability of a formula for a project is not known until late into the process.

We think that being realistic about the costs early on in the process improves the way chemists formulate.
